Mission Statement

The PRSG mission is to promote cultural vitality and artistic diversity necessary for a healthy society in the following ways:
  • Increasing public awareness of sculpture through public and private sculpture exhibits, education, and resource & outreach programs;
  • Encouraging artistic diversity and excellence by providing a network in which artists meet, show their work, exchange their ideas, and address issues of common concern;
  • Providing collective opportunities and resources for members;
  • Fostering development of all sculptors.

    OLIVER RANCH TOUR --- SUNDAY, APRIL 19, 2009

    For Pacific Rim Sculptors Group and Their Guests


    The tour of Oliver Ranch should be quite spectacular. His collection is quite broad. There is a video on PBS Art21 of Martin Puryear talking about his sculpture at the Ranch.


    Artists with site-specific work on the Oliver Ranch include Terry Allen, Miroslaw Balka, Roger Barry, Ellen Driscoll, Bill Fontana, Kristin Jones, Andrew Ginzel, Andy Goldsworthy, Dennis Leon, Jim Melchert, Bruce Nauman, Martin Puryear, David Rabinowitch, Jim Jennings, Fred Sandback, Richard Serra, Judith Shea, Robert Stackhouse,Ursula Von Rydingsvard, and Ann Hamilton.
